
Tissot's with UFO Robot Grendizer Collaboration Is a Shout Out for Nostalgia

Rivoli Group, a top-tier store in Dubai, is advertising Tissot’s new watch in an outdoor campaign. They’re using digital billboards that show the Tissot watch and logo, along with the Rivoli brand name. These billboards have a special look because Rivoli’s logos are layered over the screens using unique techniques which are LED production. Tissot’s previous successful OOH appearance was during October 2024 when the brand was promoting the official watch for the NBA which is considered a sports edition. Tissot is currently back on billboards even stronger with everyone’s vintage favorite cartoon Grendizer. The campaign is a relatively new one that was released during the fourth week of March and is considered a single-format campaign that utilizes digital screens across Dubai.
Tissot uses its main brand slogan in the ad visual which is “Swiss Watches Since 1853” and highlights that the watch in the billboard is related to the animation series Grendizer. The visual shows that the watch is called “UFOROBOT GRENDIZER” in bold and enlarged ad copy. The billboard also shows a dark outline of the cartoon character along with a starry and galaxy background which is bound to attract passersby attention. The new watch is also shown in an enlarged and close-up aesthetically pleasing photograph.
