McDonald’s has released an promotional OOH campaign for the season of generosity headlining their new offering the “Ramadan Meal” and this follows their previous appearance in February 2025.
The brand has decided as the season of Ramadan 2025 has started, the brand has taken to heart to create an offering specialized for the season, the “Ramadan Meal.” For only 210LE the meal offers the brand’s signature Chicken Fillet and McDouble with their crisp french fries, a refreshing drink and an ice cream “Sundae” all while having the option of getting the main items of the meal in spicy or regular and the choice of ice cream sauce. A very generous offering by the brand that truly carries the Ramadan vibe thoroughly, a very warm gesture by McDonald’s that will truly satisfy everything you need either for iftar.
The visuals are centralized around the main idea of iftar as the background is visualized via a photographic illustration of the sunset of Maghreb time which is heavily associated with Ramadan and its the time where Muslims break their fast for the day. The other elements of the ad copy include the items offered by the meal and the price in the top right of the ad copy while being framed in a traditional Ramadan-esque design. The other iteration of the ad is simply the sunset in the background while having the main tagline of the campaign centralized in the middle being “Ramadan Meal” appearing in a font that lacks sharp edges that help enhance the main idea of warmth.
