Hospitality and tourism organization Visit Abu Dhabi climbs up on Dubai’s outdoor advertising arena with a contemporary and captivating campaign featuring Hollywood’s beloved couple Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky. Visit Abu Dhabi’s previous successful OOH appearance was during June 2024 when the brand was advertising for summer adventures and offered a list of “101 Abu Dhabi DO’s.” Visit Abu Dhabi is currently back on track even stronger, presenting to Dubai’s OOH audience more venues and places to visit in the breathtaking city. This campaign is a relatively new one that was released during the second week of February and is considered a single-format campaign that utilizes hoardings and digital screens. The hoarding visual is split into two sections. One section shows Elsa Pataky in the Louvre Abu Dhabi, showing the amazing architecture of the venue in the background, portraying the ad copy that translates to “Discover Humanity’s Story.” The ad copy “Welcome to Abu Dhabi, Discover It In Your Way,” is also embedded in the campaign. On the top right corner of the billboard there’s a location icon that gives out information that the place where this photograph was taken is the “Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.” The Louvre Abu Dhabi blends diverse art collections with striking architecture, featuring a vast dome that creates a rain of light and exhibitions showcasing global human creativity across 9,200 square meters. The other half of the billboard portrays Chris Hemsworth riding a 4x4 car in the middle of sandy dunes using the main tagline “Find your edge.” The campaign also uses the ad copy “Experience Abu Dhabi, Find Your Pace,” which was also used in Arabic. The location icon on the top left of the billboard indicates that this place is called the “Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa.” Al Wathba is a desert resort in Abu Dhabi offering a peaceful, wellness-focused getaway with a spa, traditional lodging, and scenic dining, catering to diverse guests. The digital screen visual shows the couple on a romantic dinner sitting on a dining table with the ad copy that translates to “Discover The Authentic Kitchen Experience.” Other than that, the digital screen visuals use the same visuals as the hoardings.
