Cairo's bustling streets are a canvas for advertising, but some outdoor campaigns truly resonate. Abu Auf, a well-established brand known for its quality and tradition, effectively uses memorable and strategic advertising to capture the city's attention. Abu Auf has launched a new captivating OOH campaign celebrating the near arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 2025. Abu Auf’s previous successful OOH appearance was during November 2024 when it was advertising for its unique Turkish coffee through a die-cut campaign. Abu Auf is currently back on track with a new eye-grabbing campaign displaying all its Ramadan-related products which are bound to grab the attention of the mass OOH audience. The campaign’s main tagline is “With You Like Every Year,” prominently displaying Abu Auf’s logo in the center of the campaign. The top footer of the billboard embeds ad copy such as “Ramadan Kareem,” “Ramadan Came To Us,” and “Wake Up, Sleeper.” These are all popular phrases that are related to the Ramadan season. Another phrase used in the visual is “Wahawy ya Wahawy.” which is originally a pharaonic saying that means “Welcome Moon.” This phrase has to do with the timeframe in which Muslims break their fast and have suhur which is the meal right before starting their fasting. The billboard also has symbols and icons related to Ramadan including a moon, a plate of dates, palm trees, and the thermos flask people have Arabic coffee in. Another ad visual shows a divided box of dried fruits and nuts which are an essential part of Ramadan for Arab families. A separate visual shows a pack of nuts by Abu Auf that says “Premium Fresh Food Inside,” which is bound to grab the attention of consumers. The visual also shows plate offerings of dates, raisins, and dried fruits along with Ramadan lanterns, really reflecting the vibes of the holy month. Another visual focuses on Abu Auf’s signature Turkish coffee showing the coffee in both the box and the pack in both “Plain” and “Light Plain” coffee bean concentrations and ingredients. The visual also shows a hand holding a cup of hot Turkish coffee which is bound to trigger consumers’ appetite. The design also embeds scattered coffee beans around the main element of the photo.
