Chipsy, the oldest brand of potato chips in Egypt, has popped up on Greater Cairo’s major Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising scene with a new campaign advertising for its various flavors while taking a branding approach with the tagline which translates to “With You In Every Special Moment.” Chipsy’s previous successful OOH appearance was during August 2024 when the brand was introducing the age-old trick that we used to do since we’re kids and made it official on billboards and called it “Chipswich.” Chipsy is back on track with a contemporary approach that is bound to grab the attention of passersby on the roads. The campaign is also widely distributed across major highways and high-traffic areas around the city. One of the campaign visuals displays the tagline in bubble type displaying smaller cut-out photographs inside the ad copy. One photo is of a group of friends watching TV and having Chipsy as a snack. Another photograph is of a couple cheering for a football team while eating Chipsy, while another cut-out is of a couple in a car having Chipsy. Another small photograph is of a man asking a woman to marry him. This reflects the tagline that Chipsy would like to deliver to people which is that Chipsy is with you in every special moment. The visual also shows three main flavors of Chipsy which include; Chilli and Lemon, Seasoned Cheese, and Salt and Vinegar, prominently displaying Chipsy’s official logo. Another screen shows the Kebab flavor while portraying a group of friends at school wearing their uniforms. A separate visual portrays Chicken-flavored with herbs Chipsy. The small photographs in the ad copy are portrayed on a big scale with each of the Chipsy flavors. Another flavor demonstrated on the billboards is the signature Cheese flavor displaying a family having dinner with Chipsy on the side.
