
Sharjah's Streets Light Up for FOAP Marathon's 12th Edition

The digital screens across the city of Sharjah are echoing with the 12th Charitable FOAP (Friends of Arthritis Patients) Marathon, scheduled to take place on February 9, 2025. This mega event is expected to attract more than 8,000 participants from public and private schools, universities, sports clubs, hospitals, and is inclusive of people with disabilities. But that is not all about running; the marathon is targeted to raise awareness and funds for arthritis patients, aiming for both financial and emotional support.
The bright and bold OOH campaign by Friends of Arthritis Patients Association has stunning visuals on digital billboards placed strategically across Sharjah. One screen displays a jet ski rider cutting through waves in a dynamic shot, symbolizing the thrill and endurance of the marathon. Another ad shows an ocean of people in traditional costumes, emphasizing that the event was all-inclusive in spirit and culturally relevant. The red and purple shades of the ad copy blaze bright in the urban landscape and immediately strike the eye in order to then zoom in for the details of the date, the website on which to enroll, and the hotline number.
Geographical placement cannot get much better than this. Being displayed right at the forefront in high-traffic areas, these digital screens will grab the attention of regular commuters to occasional pedestrians alike, thereby commanding maximum visibility. The targeting of key urban spots by this campaign will effectively capture an integrated audience, from fitness enthusiasts to families while fostering a great community spirit for an important cause.
