One of Egypt’s most beloved soft drinks, Pepsi, rises again on Cairo’s OOH arena with a new promotional campaign that is bound to get audiences excited. The campaign includes Pepsi’s latest innovation, the Pepsi “Extra Fizz” which has been launched on all forms of advertising including TV recently. The campaign is heavily distributed on major roads and highways across Greater Cairo to draw maximum consumer attention and get Pepsi lovers motivated to join in on the challenge. Pepsi’s previous successful OOH appearance was in June 2024 when it featured a bunch of loved superstars, launching its new logo and identity. The campaign visuals are captivating and vibrant using the main tagline which translates to “Buy 2 Pepsi and Get 1 Extra Fizz.” The visual portrays 3 bottles of Pepsi in 1 liter, two of which have golden lids making them the normal Pepsi, while the one in the middle has a white lid, meaning this is the Extra Fizz one. Another campaign visual uses the ad copy that translates to “Exchange 2 Pepsi lids with 1 Extra Fizz,” showing a demonstration of two golden Pepsi lids with a plus sign in between them, and then an equal sign showing the Extra Fizz bottle of Pepsi. A separate visual shows Pepsi cans, referring to the fact that if someone drinks two normal Pepsi cans and keeps the top popper can opener, they get an Extra Fizz Pepsi. The visual also shows that the normal Pepsi have a royal blue color while the packaging of the Extra Fizz Pepsi can has a darker shade which is almost black. The normal Pepsi cans have the ad copy “The Third is on Us” on its packaging. All the billboards show the products with a navy blue backdrop which is close to Pepsi’s color in logo and branding.
