Jacob Elordi Becomes Chanel’s Face for Its Prominent N°5 Fragrance on Dubai’s DOOH
Chanel returns to Dubai’s DOOH scene with a new campaign featuring renowned Australian actor Jacob Elordi advertising for the cosmetics and personal care brand’s signature Number 5 or as they call it, N°5 fragrance. The campaign is a single-format one that utilizes digital screens across Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and was released during the fourth week of December with the New Year on the verge. Chanel’s prior successful OOH appearance was during October 2024 when it was advertising for the Première Édition Originale starring Jennie Kim.
Chanel is back on billboards stronger than ever with striking and captivating visuals using Jacob Elordi’s star power. The visuals showcase a closeup aesthetically pleasing photograph of the star and of his side profile in particular. It almost seems like Jacob is looking at something behind him. The billboard also showcases the fragrance of its bottle against a bright red background. Red symbolizes passion and drama and it also stimulates and grabs attention making it a suitable color for the cheque campaign. The visuals also prominently portray Chanel’s official logo.
This perfume captures the essence of its luxurious predecessor, sharing the same captivating floral and aldehydic character. It opens with a vibrant burst of citrus, leading to a heart of exquisite May Rose and Jasmine. The aldehydes lend a distinctive aura, while a touch of warm vanilla creates a lingering, seductive trail.
