McDonald’s Adds The New McCrispy To Its Menu on UAE’s D/OOH in a Die-Cut Campaign

McDonald’s triggers hunger on UAE’s D/OOH platform with a new addition to its menu, the McCrispy. The campaign is massively distributed across three main cities in the UAE including Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman to reach maximum consumer attention. The campaign is a multi-format one which utilizes unipoles, digital screens, bridge billboards and lampposts and was released during the third week of December. The multinational foodservice company’s prior successful OOH appearance was earlier in December 2024 when McDonald’s was promoting their McWings menu item.

McDonald’s is currently back on track with an even stronger campaign making it a creative concept or die-cut campaign to grab the attention of passersby on the roads. The bridge billboard shows the McCrispy burger popping out of the billboard’s frame. The main tagline used is “The Sound of Joy,” while highlighting on the billboards that this product is “New.” The word “McCrispy” is bold and clear and in the color red which is used to stimulate, draw attention, create urgency and encourage. It is also one of the primary brand colors for McDonald’s. 

The visuals are divided into both English and Arabic ad copy for the majority of consumers to understand. The background color is yellow which is a symbol of joyfulness, happiness, and energy. The campaign maintains McDonald’s official brand colors in order not to cause confusion.
