Amazon has recently popped up on UAE’s major D/OOH platform with a new campaign advertising its “White Friday Sale.” This follows Amazon.ae’s previous successful OOH appearance approximately 1 week ago when it was promoting the 11.11 Sale. Amazon.ae is back on digital screens even stronger this time with a tremendous promotional campaign that was released during the third week of November. This campaign is considered a multi-format campaign that utilizes uni-poles, digital screens, lampposts, megacoms, and bridge billboards. This campaign is widely distributed across the UAE in both Dubai and Sharjah.
The main tagline used in the campaign is “” Biggest sale of the year” while also highlighting that this is the “White Friday Sale.” The ad visual portrays a package from Amazon.ae to get UAE’s D/OOH audience excited about ordering items from the big sale. The ad copy also points out that the sale will only be available from “20-30 Nov.” The campaign also informs people that there will be “Additional savings with Mastercard and ADCB.” Other visuals also highlight additional savings with people who pay through “HSBC and Emirates Islamic.”
The visuals use a bright red background to grab people’s attention on the roads. Red is known to stimulate, create urgency, draw attention, and encourage making it a suitable color for the campaign. It also reflects energy and excitement which is necessary in this case.
