Ahmed ElGendy and Samsung in Unison to Celebrate Being Number One Globally on OOH
Samsung Egypt, the pioneering consumer electronics company, has once again popped up on Greater Cairo’s OOH landscape with a massively distributed campaign featuring Olympic gold medalist Ahmed ElGendy to promote Samsung’s latest televisions and audiovisual equipment. Samsung’s prior successful OOH appearance was four weeks ago starring Amina Khalil and Asser Yassin advertising for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
The campaign uses the main tagline that translates to “Number 1 in the world.. Made in Egypt” and the sub-tagline “Samsung televisions with AI Technology.” The main tagline sends the message that these TV’s are manufactured here in Egypt and this is bound to draw the attention of audiences. In the ad copy, Samsung highlights three different TV screens of theirs which are the “Neo QLED,” “Neo QLED 8K,” and “OLED.” The campaign also highlights that the televisions are “available at amazon.eg.”
As the brand honors the Egyptian modern pentathlete Ahmed ElGendy, they are thrilled to showcase his success which is elegantly framed through the different screens portrayed in the visual, which are all powered by AI, bringing every moment to life. Ahmed ElGendy seems to be popping out of each different TV screen practicing a different multisport of modern pentathlon including running, fencing, and pistol shooting.
