In its second year, the award has expanded in scope and reach to attract many more contestants. It is now open to businesses of all sizes, from small startups to large corporations, with equal opportunities for recognition. Several categories add up to a total of 90 winners who will compete for a lion's share prize pool of 37 million UAE Dirhams. It serves to illustrate responsible and ethical employment in the United Arab Emirates. The award program, in this case, tries to incentivize other firms to aim for better standards through recognition and rewards. Those companies that will be shortlisted are those who have demonstrated determination in welfare attention to employees, diversity, and inclusion, and even concern for sustainability.
The concerned companies willing to participate in the Emirates Labour Market Award can register and submit applications online through the official website at www.riyada.mohre.gov.ae.
The application process will involve the submission of a detailed report regarding policy, initiative, and achievement in the labor market. A panel of judges will review the submissions and select the winners in accordance with their compliance with the criteria set for the award.
