Procter & Gamble (P&G), has launched a new Out-of-Home campaign in Cairo for its popular shower gel Camay. This is the first time Camay has appeared on an OOH campaign in Greater Cairo and it follows P&G’s previous successful OOH for Head & Shoulders which was launched during June 2023. The visual displays two new refreshing and mesmerizing products by Camay, using the main tagline “Renew Yourself with Camay’s Distinctive Fragrances.” The visuals are split in half showing the “Coconut Shower Gel” on the left hand side and the “Lavender Vanilla Shower Gel” on the right. The Coconut Shower Gel bottle portrays a sliced fresh coconut on it along with half a coconut in the background using a vibrant turquoise color as the base color for this half of the billboard. Turquoise is a color that promotes mental clarity and effective communication. It’s often used in marketing to energize people, restore their vitality, and encourage positive thinking. This color also symbolizes creativity and self-expression. The Lavender Vanilla Shower Gel half of the billboard is themed in deep purple to give the essence of lavender and portrays the lavender and vanilla flowers on the shower gel bottle and in the background giving a refreshing vibe. Color psychology suggests that purple can contribute to mental balance and emotional harmony. It’s associated with peace of mind, a connection between spiritual and physical worlds, and a balance between thought and action. Purple is known for its uplifting and calming properties for the mind and nerves. The choice of colors is beyond perfect since the turquoise gives a very tropical vibe to the Coconut Shower Gel and the purple gives a relaxing and calming effect for the Lavender Vanilla fragrance.
