IWC Schaffhausen Shows Off Their Fancy Portugieser Watch on Digital Screens All Over Dubai
IWC Schaffhausen, the Swiss luxury watch brand, just launched a digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) campaign across Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The campaign utilizes digital screens to showcase the fancy Portugieser watch. This campaign was launched during the first week of August 2024, following the brand’s previous successful campaign in December 2023 featuring Hamilton and Bundchen as brand ambassadors.
The ad visually displays the Portugieser Chronograph CHF 19’000 (IW371626) which is blue in color. The watch case is made of 18 carat white gold and has self-winding movement. It is 41 millimeters in size with a blue face and light blue calfskin strap made by Santoni. The strap is 20 millimeters wide.
The Portugieser is a few from IWC’s earliest and most well-known timepieces. No other watch collection contains as many technological feats of exquisite watchmaking. The Portugieser watch has a distinctive look: large size, simple Arabic numbers, thin leaf-shaped hands, and a circular track around the edge. This classic design was created in the 1930s and was ahead of its time. Even today, its clean, clear face is still considered a top fashion choice.
The chronograph blue masterpiece is displayed against a white background to make it stand out, embedding the ad copy “IWC Schaffhausen” on the bottom banner and “IWC Portugieser” on the top center of the billboard.
