The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) takes a strong stand for supporting the Paris 2024 Olympics on Greater Cairo’s outdoor advertising platform. The campaign aims to support and celebrate the country’s homegrown athletes. NBE’s prior successful OOH campaign was during March 2024 and it aimed to support local products and brands. The National Bank of Egypt is currently back on billboards stronger than ever with a powerful campaign featuring 14 of Egypt’s champions in various different sports and they are all photographed and portrayed standing next to each other in the ad visual. The main tagline used in the campaign translates to “From The Land of The Beginning, Keep Going Champions of The Story,” however, in Arabic, it has a rhyme to it which makes it very catchy. The campaign portrays Egyptian athletes; Fencer Mohamed El-Sayed, Salma Ali who plays Parataekwondo, Weightlifter Karim Abokahla, Weightlifter Neama Said, Professional Wrestler Mohamed Ibrahim (Kesho), Modern Pentathlete Ahmed El-Gendy, Modern Pentathlete Mohanad Shaban, Sara Samir Weightlifter, Wrestler Mohamed Mostafa, Fencer Mohamed Maher Hamza, Modern Pentathlete Malak Ismail, ana Para Table Tennis athlete Eslam Raslan. The campaign is a multi-channel campaign available on TV, social media, and of course, on outdoor media, yet the names of each athlete were not mentioned for the audience to connect the faces with the names of our national Olympic team.
