Pepsi rises again on Greater Cairo’s OOH platform after its prior appearance last month, unveiling Pepsi’s new logo and identity which is the brand’s first new branding update in 14 years. Pepsi is currently back on billboards featuring superstars; Amr Diab, Mo Salah, Ahmed El Sakka, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Nawal El Zoghbi, in their “Be New” campaign. One of the dashing campaign visuals portrays renowned Egyptian singer and composer Amr Diab holding a new Pepsi can, with his professionally produced photograph giving off euphoric vibes with his cheerful smile along with the bold ad copy “New Look” and Pepsi’s contemporary logo. Another visual of the campaign portrays professional Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah, back in 2021 while he was taking his morning jog, while the other half of the billboard portrays the new Mo Salah running in 2024 with more fashionable clothes, with Pepsi’s logo in the middle and the tagline “Be New”. A separate dazzling ad visual shows renowned Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka back in 1996 when he was young, holding an old Pepsi can which was designed back in that period of time. Ahmed El Sakka is also shown wearing a Pepsi T-shirt. On the other hand, the other half of the billboard portrays Ahmed El Sakka now in 2024, leaning on a new convertible blue car, holding a new Pepsi can with Pepsi’s renewed logo on it. More visuals illustrate the prominent actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz back when he was younger in 2006, drinking Pepsi from a traditional Pepsi glass bottle which was the usual back then. The other half of the visual displays Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in an elegant tuxedo, currently in 2024, holding a rebranded Pepsi can, with the united tagline “Be New” in the middle, along with Pepsi’s new bold logo. A separate visual portrays renowned Lebanese singer and actress Nawal El Zoghbi back in 2000 looking younger, holding a Pepsi can that was produced during that year, while the other half of the billboard portrays the star currently in 2024 holding the new can. One of the campaign visuals shows Pepsi’s new logo alone giving passers-by familiarity to the new logo and raising recognition and awareness towards the new brand identity.
