Moro is bringing a louder, more playful energy to Cairo’s billboards with the introduction of its new “Moro Peanuts” variant. Following their last OOH appearance, Moro’s OOH rollout showcases the variant in a campaign that employs high-contrast visuals, oversized typography and direct product appetite appeal. The billboards from Cadbury, located on the elevated roads and busy traffic arteries, use a simple but loud visual formula, intended for quick legibility from a distance.

The food and beverages campaign's trump card is the colour palette. The background is dominated by Moro’s signature purple branding, with strong visual contrast from warm gold and caramel tones from the peanuts and chocolate. Combined, the colours make an instant statement in Cairo’s already busy outdoor advertising environment.

Moro’s billboards are very simple in its heirarchy. Thick, bold lettering dominates the billboard for the product name with the chocolate bar visual located below and scattered peanuts floating throughout the composition. The “new” badge in the corner emphasises the launch angle without sacrificing the overall readability.

It is also interesting to see how the campaign connects the peanuts visually with movement and energy. The billboard feels a little kinetic with the flying peanut pieces, motion streaks, and angled composition, which aligns with the secondary Arabic messaging seen across other placements: "Life Needs Energy”. Moro doesn’t pitch the product as a luxury or indulgent item, but more of an energetic everyday snack.

The campaign also benefits from the placement of the billboard. The large-scale formats are placed along high traffic roads and bridges, and are designed to keep the bold typography and simplified visual language legible at a fast pace of driving. The least amount of copy keeps it clear, especially on crowded urban routes where viewers have only seconds to absorb the message.

Moro’s campaign succeeds in its visual simplicity. It’s not about storytelling, but about solid branding, instant product identification and dynamic visual triggers – an approach that is very much in line with the fast-paced rhythm of Cairo’s outdoor advertising scene.
