It has been a while since we last saw “Mostakbal Misr” on OOH. The last appearance was during the announcement of their project, “JIRIAN.” So, are we about to hear about their next mega project soon? Or is this simply a brand recall campaign?

Although this campaign doesn’t reveal any details about a specific project, it hints at a major announcement on the horizon. The background features a coastal setting, our first clue. The tagline reads, “Kol Khatwa Bt’rbna l Mostakbal Misr,” translating to “Each step brings us closer to Egypt’s future.” Placing such a message along the Ring Road, where commuters are constantly on the move, could imply that you are quite literally getting closer to the new project as you drive. This serves as a second clue that this might not be just a brand recall campaign, but rather a teaser for an upcoming coastal development.

Another theory behind this intentionally vague approach is that it could simply be a brand recall campaign, utilizing Cairo’s busy streets to achieve mass awareness efficiently. For now, we’ll have to wait for the next phase of the campaign to draw a clearer conclusion.

How does this OOH stand out among competitors on the same road?

Visually, the campaign is appealing. The coastal imagery introduces a refreshing blue tone that instantly evokes a seaside feel. The logo is centrally positioned above the main tagline, ensuring a strong brand presence. In terms of readability while driving, the message is clear and easy to grasp.

The tagline is simple yet versatile; it works both metaphorically and literally, adding depth to the campaign.

Regarding placement, the campaign dominates a high-traffic section of the Ring Road. The repetition of billboards installed consecutively creates a “branding hub.” That increases visibility and reduces the chances of being overlooked.

So, we don’t have a definitive answer yet—the real answer will unfold in the upcoming OOH campaign.
