From Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the luxurious jewelry brand Messika has spread glamor all over Dubai’s digital billboards. Their last advertisement featured supermodel Kendall Jenner glimmering in their beautiful collection. The Messika Maison is penning a new chapter in its history. By designing the Akh-Ba-Ka, a set of jewelry modeled after ancient Egyptian jewelry and entirely made of diamonds and white gold, Messika takes on an unexpected challenge. Messika has designed a unique jewelry set consisting of 4 pieces: a plastron necklace, a pair of earrings, and two architectural-style rings, each of which features diamonds cut from this fantastic 110-carat rough stone. The designer was inspired by the allure of ancient Egypt and the power of its legendary queens. The life force, known as the KA, and the transformation and ascension into the afterlife, known as the BA, were considered to make up the soul in ancient Egypt. The AKH, or the transfigured soul moving toward the light, is the spark produced by the joining of these two energies. The necklace is the spotlight of the visuals, in close-up shots and adorning the model’s neck. Its cutting-edge and imaginative design cleverly reinterprets the legendary Egyptian-winged bug using faceted white gold and diamonds. The 33-carat diamond lies at the heart of this stunning necklace. The necklace is nearly incandescent because of its unmatched radiance, popping out against the deep blue background and light. In a new, limited campaign, Messika unveiled this in the first week of October on digital screens and wall wrappings.
