The Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial Announces the Event's Compelling Commencement Date on UAE’s Billboards

After being launched in 2004 to theoretically introduce the art of Calligraphy, the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial event is now celebrating its 10th edition, inviting innovative calligraphy enthusiasts from all around the globe to witness and experience technical, aesthetic, and intellectual advancements. The biennial event showcases highly efficient artworks that utilize the aspect of elevation in both the conceptuality and standards of the artworks and accomplishments, all within the available workshops, seminars, performances, and ceremonies.     

The event date announcement campaign took off on UAE’s outdoor advertising scene, jampacking Dubai’s streets with the 10th edition dates. The campaign ad spaces note that the one-of-a-kind event will take place from the 5th of October to the 30th of November. The ad spaces also host the logo of “Elevation” alongside a subtle mention of all the UAE authorities that make this event possible, like the Government of Sharjah Department of Culture (SDC) and the Directorate of Cultural Affairs. The ad design utilizes a red background, with awe-inspiring Arabic calligraphy noted upon it, which gives a quicker hint to what the event entails, as well as showcasing just 1% of the talent and abilities one will be able to view in the event itself.  

The Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial struck Dubai’s event & exhibition outdoor advertising scene in the first week of October upon bridge billboards, uni-poles, digital screens, hoardings, mega coms, and lampposts.
