Can you fathom a world where the Big Mac isn't available? Or how about Chicken McNuggets? What about Happy Meals? Well, no need to! On fire again, McDonald’s, the international foodservice giant adds onto their list of alluring campaigns, like their previous billboards for their point system on the application. McDonald’s App struck Dubai’s streets with an eye-catching OOH campaign, as they always do.
McDonald's is introducing a new technology that will allow customers to avoid lines and even skip the drive-thru; the new service dubbed "Click & Serve," will be available on the My McDonald's App and will allow customers to bypass queues while picking up their meal. Customers may order from home, and go pick up their favorite food, eliminating the need to wait in a drive-thru line or enter the restaurant.
The campaign’s ad copy reflects its message, saying “Order Ahead and Skip the queues with McDonald’s”. It entices consumers with exclusivity by adding, “Only on the McDonald’s Application”, with a call to action to download it from Google Play or the App store. The billboard includes a mockup of a mobile with the screen of the application, showcasing illustrated fries and a burger with the vibrant colors associated with the brand (red and yellow). They even made the comic food look tasty!
The limited campaign turned up on Uni-Pole billboards across Dubai, in the first week of February.
