Former striker Mahmoud El Khatib has launched an outdoor campaign to announce that he is running for the presidency of his old club Al Ahly SC, contesting current president Mr. Mahmoud Taher whose OOH campaign has also hit the roads recently. Under the slogan “Al Ahly above all” and announcing his electoral list “with the spirit of the red jersey”, the ads showcase the faces of all proposed Board members over red branded backgrounds, featuring Egypt’s former Minister of Sports Mr. El Amry Farouk as vice-president. The campaign was launched just before the second week of November with uni-poles, lightboxes, billboards, double-decker poles across the Greater Cairo.
