As the Official Sustainable Energy Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has shown up on Dubai's billboards to announce its organization of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show 2021 in congruence with Expo 2020 Dubai's vision to set up a sustainable future for the Emirates. This annual event is held under the directives of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In addition, the event is under the aegis of the Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum. WETEX and the Dubai Solar Show are one-of-a-kind exhibition in the region and around the world that presents the newest technology developments with the latest trends and demands in water conservation, energy, environmental sustainability, and natural resource conservation. Furthermore, it provides national and international entities with the opportunity to share best practices and showcase their products and services from all over the world. It’s worth knowing that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Poland, South Korea, and Chile are among the 10 countries represented in the pavilions. The OOH campaign displays an aerial view of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show, surrounded by colorful icons that represent a specific resource, such as water, technology, energy, environment, oil and gas, and fast-developing solar energy, all of which have appeared on a white-colored backdrop. The event will start from today October 5 to 7 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, EXPO 2020 DUBAI. The ad copy reveals that the event is under the theme of “At the forefront of Sustainability” or “في طليعة الاستدامة”, which aligns with Expo 2020 Dubai’s main theme. This new campaign emerged in the first week of October in a limited location on Hoarding Billboards in Dubai.
