With a reposted OOH campaign from last year, Fawaz Elhokair Group is back to the OOH arena to promote Mall of Arabia’s Black Friday offers on Cairo’s billboards, using celebrity branding marketing strategy with actor and comedian Mahmoud Ellisy.
Encouraging everyone to “Catch up with Gomaa on Friday” to play with words by naming their ambassador “Gomaa” which means “Friday”; the visuals have a black and yellow color them, displaying “Gomaa” that seems to be a superhero wearing his costume because it takes a superhero to be ready for the crazy offers.
The campaign was released during the last week of November, using uni-poles, mega-sign and butterfly in different locations across Greater Cairo.
