In the season of entertainment and shows, Cairo Show Theatre returns with a new OOH campaign to bring back the Shakespearean tragedy play “King Lear”, performed by the genius Yehia El Fakharany, as well as the beloved comedian Mohamed Henedy to perform in his play “3 Days in Sahel”. The visuals used in King Lear’s ad are repeated from last year’s campaign, featuring the Egyptian iconic actor Yehia El Fakharany in the middle with a gloomy background to be the showcase for the star as it also fits the atmosphere of the play. The ad copy refers to the play as “Shakespeare’s masterpiece”. The bottom space is reserved for the location of the theatre where it will be performed as well as their social media accounts. Parallel to it, another ad that announces Mohamed Henedy’s comedy play “3 Days in Sahel”; the visuals feature the leading Egyptian actor and comedian dressed in a fancy tuxedo and a theatrical background as the showcase for Henedy. The ad copy informs viewers of the name of the play “3 Days in Sahel” as well as showing its genre “Comedy play”; the bottom space shows the location and their social media accounts. Both plays were performed during Eid, and they will go on until the end of summer so don’t worry if you have missed it during Eid. The campaign appeared during the first week of June, using uni-poles, double-decker pole in different locations across Greater Cairo.
