Switch Plus Makes Its OOH Debut in Egypt with iPhone 18 Pro Installment Campaign
The upgrade catches the eye; the payment offer gives shoppers a reason to consider it. Switch Plus brings these two motivations together in its debut Egyptian OOH campaign, promoting the iPhone 18 Pro alongside an installment offer with Commercial International Bank (CIB). The large-format execution gives the handset substantial visual space while placing the purchasing proposition directly above it, connecting product desire with the question of payment.
The Offer Gives the Upgrade a Practical Hook
The Arabic headline, “محترف بمستوى مختلف,” introduces a message of elevated performance that complements the model’s Pro identity. Beneath it, the billboard advertises installments over 24 months without a down payment, interest, or fees. These are presented as campaign claims, giving the creative a specific commercial proposition beyond the general availability of the phone.
That specificity matters for retail communication. A premium handset can attract interest through appearance and familiarity, but the payment arrangement introduces another reason to enquire. The campaign makes financing part of the initial encounter, allowing the audience to register both what is available and how the advertised offer proposes spreading its cost.
Switch Plus and CIB appear together in the upper-left corner, alongside an Apple Premium Reseller mark. Their grouping identifies the businesses associated with the promotion without interrupting the main product presentation. For the retailer’s outdoor introduction, this creates a clear association between its name, the featured device, and the banking partner.
A Product Image Designed for Roadside Scale
The iPhone 18 Pro occupies the lower half of the composition, shown horizontally in a dark burgundy finish. Its rear camera cluster and side profile remain visible against oversized metallic “PRO” lettering. The overlap adds depth while keeping the physical device in the foreground, giving the billboard a strong product silhouette.
A deep blue background unifies the layout and provides contrast for the white Arabic copy. The design reserves its largest visual elements for the handset and model identity, while the offer sits in a compact block above. This creates distinct reading areas without introducing multiple product shots, competing promotional badges, or lengthy specifications.
The photographed placement stands above a multilane road, where the elevated landscape format gives the creative room to work at scale. In this setting, the enlarged handset provides an immediate visual anchor. The shorter offer lines carry additional information for viewers able to read them, supporting different levels of attention during a roadside encounter.
Turning Outdoor Attention into a Retail Enquiry
The campaign gives subsequent retail content a focused starting point. Product demonstrations can develop interest in the handset, while offer information can explain eligibility and the applicable purchase conditions. The billboard introduces these subjects together, creating a connection that supporting communication can carry through to a more detailed customer conversation.
For Switch Plus, the outdoor debut establishes a recognisable proposition: a prominently displayed smartphone, an advertised payment arrangement, and identifiable commercial partners. Its effectiveness as creative comes from keeping those elements connected, giving passing audiences a clear reason to remember the retailer when considering an upgrade.
