Rawaj’s OOH Launch: Selling the Deal Before the Dream
Rawaj Business Complex is Space Shapers Developments' first real estate project, but the company comes from the wider Al Agouz Group, which has operated in Egypt's market since 2005. Located on 6th of October's Central Axis, Rawaj sits on 4,062 sqm of land, with more than 10,294 sqm built up and 184 units across commercial, administrative, and medical spaces, alongside a rooftop café and lounge and a landscaped central area called The Heart. The project also brings in partners including Regus, Vodafone Business, Vezeeta, and AXA Egypt. But the OOH rollout introducing all of this skips the render tour entirely and opens with numbers instead.
Reading the Numbers: What This Campaign Is Really Selling
Three figures anchor the primary creative: 5% down payment, up to 12 years to pay, and a 40% cash discount for buyers who skip the installments. "Customize Your Payment Plan" sits beside them, working as both an offer and an invitation. Nothing here reads like a brand-first play: no lifestyle render, no aspirational scene, just terms a buyer could act on immediately, for units that range from roughly 18 sqm retail counters to 138 sqm medical suites. Based on what's on the board, this looks like a campaign built around consideration and conversion, rather than one trying to introduce Space Shapers or build the project through lifestyle imagery. That's our read of the creative itself, not a confirmed brief, but financial specificity this direct is hard to explain any other way.
Two Boards, Two Jobs: How Rawaj Split Its Creative
The rollout runs two distinct types of messaging, and the difference becomes clearer once you look beyond the main road. The uni-poles carry Rawaj's financial pitch: 5% down, up to 12 years, and the 40% cash discount, with white copy locked over solid backgrounds that change from board to board. The roadside signs closer to the project shift the message to individual partners instead. Vodafone Business uses "Designed to Keep You Connected," while AXA brings its own insurance-led communication, giving each partner space to communicate a specific benefit rather than forcing everything into the Rawaj sales message. The result is a campaign where the main OOH creative sells the commercial proposition, while the surrounding signs build out the wider ecosystem around the development. Neither approach needs to carry every product detail at once.
Surrounding the Site: The Media Plan Across West Cairo
The media buy sits entirely in West Cairo: Sheikh Zayed, Al Wahat Road, Hyper One, Dahshour Road, and the Cairo–Alexandria corridor, a tight radius around the Central Axis site rather than a citywide push. That lines up with the project's own logic: Space Shapers chose 6th of October for its growing concentration of commercial, medical, and service activity, sitting near the 26th of July Corridor and Dahshour Link. Booking OOH along the exact roads feeding that catchment makes the campaign less about reaching everyone in Cairo and more about reaching people already moving through the market Rawaj is trying to serve. It is a campaign meeting its buyers on a commute they're already making, not asking them to start a new one.
Will Rawaj's Numbers-First Bet Pay Off?
Leading with 5%, 12 years, and 40% bets that the audience can understand the commercial proposition before it needs the full project story. For someone already considering a commercial, administrative, or medical unit in 6th of October, the numbers give them something concrete to compare. The trade-off is that the campaign leaves relatively little room to answer the softer "why Rawaj?" question: the architecture, amenities, partners, and wider experience of the complex.
That tension is what makes the campaign interesting. Rawaj is not trying to make the audience fall in love with the project first. It is giving them a reason to calculate it. And because those numbers are being carried through the roads surrounding the project, the campaign puts the financial proposition in front of an audience for whom the location itself is already relevant.
