Samsung Makes Innovation Impossible to Miss Across UAE Highways

Samsung's latest outdoor advertising push across the UAE turns highway corridors into a single unbroken canvas for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Stretching along roadside greenery under open skies, the megaboard treats the highway itself as a design constraint rather than a backdrop, building a composition meant to be read at speed and still land.

One Purple Canvas, No Broken Panels

Rather than splitting its message across disconnected panels, the campaign runs as one continuous purple stretch, anchored on the left by the brand's white logo lettering. The deep violet does double duty: it signals prestige and cuts through desert sunlight with the kind of contrast a highway commute demands. Most OOH along this corridor breaks its story into separate frames, forcing a driver to reassemble the message in glances. Samsung's decision to keep the canvas whole removes that friction, letting the eye travel the length of the board the way a car travels the length of the road.

The Fold, Unfolded

Moving along the composition, submerged lettering spelling "ULTRA" and "FOLD" sits behind crisp product photography, showing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra both closed in hand and open in its dual-screen format. Galaxy AI branding and bilingual Arabic-English copy keep the technical story readable at speed, without crowding the layout. The choice to show the device in both states does more explanatory work than a spec list ever could; a folding phone is easier to sell as an experience than as a feature, and the photography treats it that way.

A Charcoal Close for the Watch Ultra

The final panel breaks from purple into charcoal, dedicated to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The tonal shift works as a visual full stop, giving the watch its own moment rather than treating it as an accessory to the phone. Arabic typography leans into regional identity here, treated as a design element in its own right rather than a translation squeezed in as an afterthought. That distinction matters on a corridor where bilingual audiences read both scripts fluently and notice when one is clearly secondary to the other.

The campaign launched on UAE hoarding billboards in the fourth week of August 2026, betting that scale and color discipline can do what fragmented messaging usually can't: hold a driver's attention for the length of the panel rather than a fraction of it. It lands in the same stretch as Samsung's Galaxy A57 and A37 push in Cairo, fronted by Wegz and Lege-Cy, a reminder that the brand is running parallel OOH plays across two of the region's biggest markets at once, each tuned to a different register, one built on celebrity and street culture, the other on scale and color psychology alone.
