McDonald's Serves the World Across the UAE's D/OOH Landscape
McDonald's returned to Dubai's D/OOH scene with a world tour of flavors, marking a follow-up to its star-studded World Cup rollout from earlier this month. This time, the brand swaps football fever for a culinary journey, bringing together some of its most iconic menu items from McDonald's restaurants around the world for a limited time.
Instead of developing a new menu, McDonald’s builds on years of fascination and online following generated by these international-exclusive items. The World Menu brings together some of the brand's most recognizable offerings from markets including South Korea, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Spain, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, allowing the audience to experience items that would typically require them to travel abroad to try them

The campaign was deployed across a mix of hoardings, Unipoles, lamposts and digital screens, with each execution reinforcing the idea of importing flavors from around the world. The hoarding execution adopts a shipping container finished in McDonald's signature red and yellow, transforming it into a visual metaphor for the international menu items arriving in the UAE. Minimal copy reading "The World Menu Heist" and "The Most Wanted Flavors," alongside the flags of participating countries, further reinforces the concept without overwhelming the creative. The remaining executions shift the focus to the products themselves, giving individual menu items such as the Biscoff McFlurry, Camembert Bites, and Cheddar McMelt their own dedicated space, allowing each international favorite to command attention while maintaining a clear and digestible visual hierarchy.

McDonald's latest campaign brings the brand's most iconic international menu items to the UAE, capitalizing on their cult following while giving customers the chance to experience them firsthand without ever needing to book a flight.
The campaign took off on hoardings, digital screens, lampposts and unipoles in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman in the fourth week of July.
