Franck Muller Brings Swiss Prestige to the UAE Skyline with a Landmark Outdoor Campaign
Luxury now towers over the UAE's busiest highways as Franck Muller unveils a commanding billboard campaign that seamlessly fuses Swiss horological excellence with Emirati national pride.
The maison's relationship with the region's screens is far from new. Just last year, the brand's complicated movements found their captivating DOOH moment, translating the intricate mechanics of haute horlogerie into a language digital out-of-home could actually speak. That campaign proved something worth remembering: precision engineering, when staged correctly on a screen drivers glance at for three seconds, does not lose its gravity. It gains an audience.
Designed to make an instant impression, the billboard dominates major transit routes with a sophisticated composition that effortlessly captures the attention of passing commuters and luxury enthusiasts. On the left, the classic typography of the "Franck Muller Geneve" insignia sits proudly above a targeted location marker for "THE DUBAI MALL," immediately directing viewers toward the brand's premier retail destination. Framing this text is a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dubai skyline at sunset, where the golden horizon illuminates the iconic silhouette of the Burj Khalifa, firmly embedding the Swiss watchmaker into the local urban identity.
Dominating the right side of the visual space is a massive, meticulously detailed rendering of the Vanguard "Proud to be Emirati" timepiece. The watch's signature Cintrée Curvex case in warm rose gold catches the natural daylight, creating an almost three-dimensional depth that demands visual focus. Inside the dark, high-contrast dial, Franck Muller’s legendary oversized numerals encircle the official emblem of the United Arab Emirates, the golden falcon shield, underlined by an explicit homage to the host nation.
Every visual element in this campaign works synergistically to elevate brand perception and translate a narrative of prestige. The juxtaposition of Geneva’s heritage with Dubai’s modern skyline reinforces the brand’s deep-rooted connection to the region, while the vibrant sunset tones evoke a sense of timeless elegance. By avoiding clutter and relying on crisp typography, iconic architecture, and symbolic watchmaking, Franck Muller achieves an outdoor execution that is as memorable as it is effective.
The new campaign took off on UAE’s Uni-Pole billboards in the fourth week of July.
