Dubai Cashless Promotes a New Way to Pay Across Dubai's DOOH Network
The Government of Dubai has taken its cashless vision to the city's DOOH landscape, encouraging residents to embrace digital payments as part of a broader shift toward a digitally driven economy. The campaign supports the Dubai Cashless Strategy, an initiative introduced in 2024 with the goal of making 90% of transactions across Dubai cashless by 2026.
To support that objective, the initiative has expanded into Dubai's DOOH landscape, using high-visibility placements to reinforce digital payment adoption throughout residents' daily routines. Visually, the campaign adopts a sleek blue gradient, creating a modern aesthetic that reflects the digital nature of the initiative. The central visual features a resident making a payment through a smartphone, transforming digital transactions from an abstract concept into a familiar everyday action. Rather than highlighting a single payment provider, the execution brings together a wide range of payment networks and digital wallets at the bottom of the visual, reinforcing the campaign's message that secure cashless payments are accessible regardless of the platform consumers choose.
As for the copy, the campaign is anchored by the Government of Dubai's "Dubai It" communications platform, using the slogan to position digital payments as another step in the emirate's broader vision for innovation and digital transformation.
The campaign launched on Digital Screens in Dubai in the fourth week of July.
