Subaru Puts Financing in the Driver's Seat Across Dubai's OOH
Subaru, the Japanese automaker known for its All Wheel Drive heritage and outdoor-oriented lineup, makes its Dubai OOH debut through Al Khoory Automobiles with a campaign that places affordability at the forefront of its value proposition.
Instead of highlighting horsepower, performance, or safety features, Subaru shifted the conversation to accessibility by presenting ownership as a manageable monthly commitment rather than a large upfront purchase. The creative direction reinforces this approach, as the hoarding was divided in two halves with each one utilizing environmental storytelling for the two models on display, The Subaru Forester was presented in mountainous terrain, highlighting the Forester's all terrain character, a trait long associated with the Subaru brand, while the Subaru BRZ was presented in an urban environment with Dubai’s skyline in the background, positioning it as the urban counterpart to the adventure oriented Forester. The executions minimized copy, reserving it primarily for the monthly installment offers while giving visual hierarchy to the vehicles themselves and allowing for easy absorption by the audience commuting along Dubai’s busy roadways.
Subaru's Dubai OOH debut demonstrates that a brand’s introduction to a competitive market does not always require leading with specifications. Instead, the campaign positions affordability as the entry point, using thoughtful visual storytelling to show that accessibility and distinct product positioning can coexist within the same execution.
The campaign launched on hoardings in Dubai in the fourth week of July.
