Before any engines rev up on the track at Yas Marina Circuit for the Formula 1, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026, buzz is already  building for the event via an innovative digital out-of-home ad campaign running across Dubai. 

Featuring a big format digital billboard display, the ad brings to mind that one of the largest sporting events and entertainment destinations in the region is coming back, taking place from 3-6 December 2026.

Featuring the tagline “The Show Is Back. Entertainment on Another Level,” the campaign plays to the strengths of what makes the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a must-see attraction beyond the races themselves, following 2025’s Qatar Grand Prix’s OOH campaign. Alongside an aerial image of the lit up Yas Marina Circuit and fireworks going off above, the imagery places the event as a destination of entertainment for four days that combines motorsports, entertainment, and nightlife.

In contrast to other sports advertisements, the ad not only focuses on racing, but rather the entertainment factor of the Grand Prix. The “Book Now” call to action is prominent in the ad, with event dates clearly shown to remind people to buy their tickets early. Using its captivating imagery, strong message, and premium placement online, the campaign managed to make a sporting event a desirable entertainment destination.

Placing the campaign in Dubai highlights the regional appeal of the event. Being one of the busiest commuter routes in the UAE, as well as a tourist destination, Dubai will provide access not only to locals but to millions of travelers visiting Dubai yearly. Placing the advertisement will ensure that not only fans living in Abu Dhabi will buy tickets, but even people from other Emirates and tourists planning their winter trips to the region will purchase tickets ahead of time.

By launching the campaign in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be able to attract more regional and international audience due to high traffic digital placement of the advertisement.

In the first week of July, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix covered Dubai’s digital screens with the campaign.
