E& Makes Zero Percent the Star of Its New Samsung Galaxy A16 Billboard

On a busy Cairo pole, e& skips the slogan altogether and opens with arithmetic instead. The Samsung Galaxy A16 128GB sits against the brand's signature red, while "0%" does the real persuading, repeated three times over.

The phone sits angled and lit, screen glowing in gradient blues and greens, the kind of glow that photographs well against red and sells itself before the copy even starts. Above it, a small circular badge does the arithmetic for the passerby already: 656 EGP a month, over 12 installments, no friction implied.

What follows is less an offer than a checklist of objections pre-answered. Zero down payment. Zero purchase fees. Zero interest. Each paired with a tick mark and a benefit Egyptians actually weigh before buying a phone on installment: two years of warranty, a year of screen insurance, a year of free internet. It is reassurance dressed up as a deal, which is, in telecom retail, often the more persuasive version of the same thing.

The tagline beneath the phone, "Installments without burden," lands with the same plainspoken confidence as the rest of the board. No metaphor needed when the math already feels good.

It is a quieter campaign than e&'s World Cup-season billboards, built less on cultural momentum and more on the unglamorous, reliable pull of a good payment plan. But in a market where every telecom is fighting for device-financing share, sometimes the loudest message is simply: nothing to lose.
