Cristiano Ronaldo and Clear Bring World Cup Energy to Greater Cairo’s OOH
With the FIFA 2026 World Cup right around the corner, World Cup sponsor Clear turned to football royalty to headline its latest campaign, with Cristiano Ronaldo leading the charge, only this time not on the pitch but across billboards throughout Greater Cairo. This marks the follow-up to their previous campaign, which announced them as the official sponsor of the Africa Cup of Nations late last year.
Visually, the campaign leans into football-inspired iconography by placing Cristiano, who has been a brand ambassador for Clear for the past 12 years, at the center of the executions, communicating confidence, performance, and global relevance. Other executions focused on the product itself, which has now been revamped to feature the World Cup on the packaging, whilst highlighting the unique selling proposition of the product, which lies in its ability of dealing with dandruff. The campaign’s copy maintained an impactful tone that sits in line with the tone of the executions, with a tagline that reads: “Cheer with a Clear Head,” a play on words that highlights the product's selling point. Rather than focusing exclusively on tournament messaging, they leaned on one of their most prolific ambassadors to make their presence as a sponsor at the World Cup known.
Clear’s latest campaign featuring Cristiano Ronaldo shows how established ambassador partnerships can become even more valuable during major sporting moments, turning anticipation around major tournaments into everyday consumer visibility.
