Murtaqa Developments is back on Cairo's streets, and this time the conversation has shifted from philosophy to place.
The developer's previous campaign was an exercise in abstraction: sun-drenched canyons, towering rock formations, a lone figure composed against vast open landscape. It spoke in metaphor, positioning Murtaqa not as a builder of units but as a curator of an elevated state of being. The brand had something to say about mindset before it had something to show.
Now it has something to show. The Que, a mixed-use destination in New Cairo offering retail, food and beverage, and office spaces, marks Murtaqa's transition from brand promise to built reality. And the creative approach reflects that shift with quiet confidence.
Two executions are running in tandem across Cairo's outdoor landscape. The first is dark and editorial: bold white serif type cut across a deep charcoal background, with two figures mid-stride between the words, flowing layers, white sneakers, the unmistakable rhythm of people who belong somewhere. The second flips to white, pairing clean navy typography with a vintage red car and a woman in denim holding a coffee cup, retro in mood, unhurried in spirit.
Both carry the same line: Your Kind of Place. It is a small sentence doing significant work, extending the brand's original promise of elevation into something more grounded and social, a place you return to rather than simply aspire toward.
Murtaqa opened its outdoor presence with a statement of values. The Que campaign answers the natural next question: what does that actually look like?
