The Design Show 2026 Takes Over Cairo’s Commute Routes
Since 2021, this time of the year has marked the return of one of Egypt’s largest gatherings for the design community, and this year, The Design Show 2026 made sure Cairo’s commuters knew exactly when and where it was happening through a widespread D/OOH campaign built on clarity and repetition.
The campaign follows a direct, information-led approach similar to last year’s rollout, placing the exhibition’s branding front and center alongside the event dates, May 14 to 16, and the venue details. Rather than overcomplicating the message, the strategy focuses on mass awareness, ensuring that commuters can absorb every key detail within seconds.

By combining both DOOH and traditional OOH placements across major traffic points from East to West Cairo, the campaign maximizes visibility and frequency, two essential components for event-driven communication. The familiar visual identity also plays a significant role in reinforcing brand recall among returning visitors, making continuity one of the campaign’s strongest assets.
The bold typography, recognizable brand colors, and simplified layout make the creatives highly legible, even from a distance. Equally important is the media placement strategy itself, as the campaign successfully integrates into Cairo’s daily commute routes, ensuring consistent exposure across the city.
