Al Oula Developments OOH, Where Repetitive Visuals are a Reminder Rather Than a Statement
Al Oula Developments is a real estate contender that may not appear often, yet it’s one of the names that stand out in the West Cairo neighbourhood. The real estate developer has launched a new advertising campaign to promote their projects. Which was a repost to a previous campaign, yet the previous campaign of Al Oula was about promoting their project ORI.
The visuals are pretty simple, water colored mix between ultramarine blue and vermilion red. The logo is placed in the center with a decent size to make it easy for the peredestians to catch it. Annexed with the names of Al Oula’s projects, such as New Zayed Ridge and October Park.
The copy works perfectly with the simple artwork. As the tagline is short and expressive, “Where Vision Leads,” only 3 words, but it indicates the vision of the real extant developer. However, the placement of the slash is kind of confusing. It may be related to coders, but we’re pretty sure that they are not the target audience.
The geographical distribution is limited only to West Cairo, as the developer promotes all its projects that are located on the West side of Greater Cairo.
One side note that Al Oula Developments was the official sponsor of the previous edition of the Mediterranean Investment Gateway Forum.
Overall, the campaign served more as a reminder than a statement, recycling previous visuals rather than introducing something fresh. While maintaining brand presence is a valid strategy, consistent repetition risks diminishing returns. For a developer of Al Oula's caliber, the OOH space is an opportunity to reinforce brand equity with new creative, and leaning on already-seen imagery may gradually erode the impact that outdoor advertising is built to deliver.
