Etoile Patisserie Gets Ramadan-Ready With A Special Menu on Billboards
With a deep midnight blue canvas that feels like the calm just before Maghrib, Etoile’s new Ramadan billboards don’t just announce a seasonal menu, they quietly, confidently declare that the sweetest moments of the month begin here.
Following their prior appearance, and across the busy roads of Cairo, the billboard stands, noting “A high star for the sweetest nights.” The play on words is not accidental; it is strategic, the brand positioning itself as the focal point of family dinners, suhoor outings, and even the sweetest nights after iftar.
The visual representation does the heavy lifting, having the Ramadan night sky backdrop host a deep blue hue, directing the focus in on the beautifully layered dessert tray. Even the placement of the dates and biscuit tray next to the dessert brings to mind the Ramadan traditions and ties in the modern day pastry shop, spotlighting the traditional Ramadan celebrations.
The Etoile logo appears prominently in the top right corner of the billboard, as well as the hotline number, providing a sense of grounding and directness in the ad. The use of “sweet means Etoile sweet” provides a catchy and lyrical closing statement that sounds colloquial and distinctly Egyptian.
