Building on the success of its previous 'More Than Just a Sign' campaign, BYD is cementing its new era in Egypt with a high-impact OOH campaign for its electric lineup. Known for years as the reliable choice for the Egyptian public, BYD is now using Cairo’s billboards to introduce a tech-first approach. 

The campaign was featured on billboards exclusively on the 26th of July Axis in West Cairo, being placed in proximity to BYD’s dealership in the area, successfully connecting awareness with conversion.

The campaign utilizes two distinct visuals. The first highlights the BYD Dolphin Surf in a vibrant, youthful yellow; positioned as an accessible entry point into the EV world, it is anchored by the punchy tagline, “Electrifying.” The second visual features the BYD Sealion 6 in both its EV and DM-i variants. Set against the iconic backdrop of the Giza Pyramids, the cars are depicted speeding away from the ancient landmarks, a powerful metaphor for the freedom and expansive range the Sealion offers. By rooting these cutting-edge vehicles in such a recognizable local setting, BYD effectively tailors its global tech-first message to the heart of the Egyptian market. Mandream, BYD’s official distributor in Egypt, was also featured in the visuals. 

BYD brings Egypt’s automotive electric future to life. With billboards near key dealerships and visuals matching each model, their ‘New Energy’ tech hits Cairo’s busiest hubs. More than cars, BYD is driving a new era of mobility for Egyptian drivers.

It's worth noting that in the corner of the billboard, there is something quite significant: the ManDream logo. ManDream is one of Mansour Group companies and the exclusive agent for BYD Egypt. The company was launched only a few weeks ago, which means this appearance signals an early and strategic move to introduce the brand to the public through high-visibility outdoor media.
