Yango Play Turns Greater Cairo’s OOH into a Ramadan Showcase
Ramadan is almost here, and with it comes an exciting time for the OOH scene all over Greater Cairo, and Yango Play returns with a city-wide takeover spotlighting its Ramadan lineup. This comes after their previous announcement of Flowers & Chocolate in December of last year.
The campaign left its mark on the majority of Greater Cairo’s billboards, with locations spanning Zamalek, 6th of October Bridge, and the Ring Road in central Cairo, as well as the busy roadways of Waslet Dahsour, Wahat Road, and the 26th of July axis, to name a few.
The visuals delivered a star-powered lineup of Egyptian talent, each billboard spotlighting a different title from the platform’s Ramadan slate. Essam Omar and Bassem Samra fronted Secret Eye, while Hend Sabry, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Khaled Selim led Immunity. Once Upon a Time brought together Maged El Kedwany, Yosra El Lozy, and Retal Abd El Aziz. The Art of War featured Yousef El Sherief alongside Reem Mostafa and Sherry Adel. Closing the lineup, The Other Half starred Ahmed Amin, Sedky Sakhr, Michel Milad, Asma Abulyazeid, and Basma.
The scale of the campaign and the Ramadan-themed imagery used in conjunction with the show announcements leave Yango Play in pole position as a dominant contender in this year’s Ramadan streaming race.
