Sharjah Film Platform 8th Edition Graces Sharjah's Hoardings
Sharjah Art Foundation is bringing back the Sharjah Film Platform for its eighth edition, promising an exciting lineup. This year's platform promises a rich program featuring diverse film screenings and artist programmes, fostering independent films.
An Out-of-Home campaign with a widespread presence ensures viewers are well-informed, has taken over hoardings, officially announcing the return of the Sharjah Film Platform, stirring up interest, and clearly declaring the celebration dates from November 14 to 23, 2025. Organised by Sharjah Art Foundation,
all over Sharjah, catching eyes with quick shots that highlight the event's main themes. Shows a reel of classic films, lights on, excited crowds, blending old traditions with a fresh rhythm. Overall, the images draw viewers in, offering a mix of movies, vibes, and genuine connections.
Furthermore, the hoardings along a high-traffic roadway display the VOX Cinemas logo as the cinema partner, along with the collaborating University partners: American University of Sharjah, New York University Abu Dhabi, University of Sharjah, and Zayed University. Highlights of the 10-day event include a variety of regional and international films, talks by filmmakers and industry professionals, workshops, and gatherings, all centered around Mirage City Cinema, the open-air theatre in Sharjah’s historic district.
