Signal Films Brings In Broad Daylight to Cairo Starring Mena Massoud, Shereen Reda, and a Stellar Ensemble Cast

Cairo is seeing a fresh wave of billboard art since May 2025, courtesy of Signal Films, the UK-based charity that champions artistic expression through film and heritage. Now they’ve brought their vision to Egypt’s streets with In Broad Daylight, featuring familiar faces; Mena Massoud, Bayoumi Fouad, Shereen Reda, Eman El-Assi, Jamila Awad, Mahmoud Hegazy among others each gazing out from digital canvases.
The main billboard layout presents a panoramic three-by-one display featuring close-up portraits of the leading cast. It’s cinematic in tone: no loud taglines, just the film title and cast names laid out in refined serif typography that leans editorial. The billboard contains stills of Mena Massoud, Shereen Reda, and others, lit in golden hour tones that evoke a mood of restrained drama. On the vertical screens, you’ll spot solo moments such as a glance from Massoud, a contemplative turn from Reda designed to feel like a frame pulled from a film reel. The color palette sticks to warm neutrals, letting expression do the heavy lifting. It’s a visual whisper that gets attention without trying too hard.
This OOH stunt feels less like advertising and more like a teaser gallery traffic slows, eyes wander over the cast’s expressions, and for a heartbeat, everyone’s in In Broad Daylight.
