Internationally loved foodservice restaurant KFC, rises on UAE’s major billboard scene promoting its latest addition to the menu, Nuggets. The campaign is a relatively new one which was released during the first week of January which means that KFC is making this addition parallel to the beginning of the new year. The campaign is a multi-format one which utilizes; hoardings, digital screens, unipoles, and lampposts across Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai which means that the campaign is heavily distributed to grab the maximum number of consumer attention. KFC’s prior successful OOH appearance was during November 2024 and was advertising for “The Mighty Cruncher.”

The majority of the campaign visuals use the ad copy “NUGGETS” and the tagline “NUGG IT. DIP IT. CRUNCH IT.” The visuals show this ad copy while portraying the crunchy nuggets being dipped into a variety of 6 different sauces. Another visual shows 3 nuggets in a column with sauce all over them triggering hunger in the UAE. A separate visual displays a hand holding a nugget that is about to be dipped into ketchup. Another ad visual displays a Family Box of KFC’s chicken stripes, a box of fries and in the center a large Family Box of Nuggets with 5 different sauces that look mouth-watering. 

All the ad visuals use a black backdrop to make the food photography aesthetically pleasing and to make it stand out on the roads. Black symbolizes elegance and sophistication and has a seductive and intimidating effect on consumers making it a perfect color for KFC’s campaign.
