Halan, a new mobile application for booking motorcycles and tuk-tuk rides, has started an outdoor campaign to introduce its services. The app was launched during the last quarter of 2017 and has just started the outdoor campaign with ads that use the name of the brand as their main artwork – “Halan”, which means “Instantly” and seems very appropriate for the service they offer. With ad copy that reads “Saves Time and Money”, the ads feature an urban street with buildings, with illustrations of a motorcycle as well as a tuk-tuk. Launched towards the end of February, the campaign uses T-poles, lightboxes and Flags across selected districts of Greater Cairo, mainly Giza.
