The United Media Services (UMS) Company is preparing to launch its Al-Qahera News TV channel next month. The self-proclaimed “Capital of News” aims to fulfill the role of the TV news outlet that can support Egypt’s media role at the local, regional, and international levels. The Media World Advertising channel declared itself through a set of visuals that engulfed Cairo’s streets. Al Qahera News used a wide variety of imagery for various capitals and countries around the world, using landscapes, religious monuments, and famous sceneries from each place to attract the audience’s attention. The extended list of countries featured in the ads was Washington, Moscow, Berlin, Beirut, Oman, Baghdad, Khartoum, Palestine, Athens, and all the way to Beijing. Seems like the audience will be seeing a lot of Al Qahera News campaigns in the near future as important events all over the globe will be covered by them; especially since the company’s desire is mainly to boost the quality of air media content in Egypt and the Arab world in all sectors, particularly in the news domain. It's noteworthy that the launch of the news channel was announced in Times Square and Cairo Tower simultaneously to witness the birth of the start of one of the biggest broadcast & media platforms in the region.
