We are sure that many of you are wondering about the new campaign popping up around the city. With questions and statements that refer to our everyday life, the campaign showcases a variety of ads with absolutely direct artwork: a white text on a patterned blue background, and the copy with 3-5 words, mostly questions directed at the viewers. Have you read the questions and phrases? Don’t they remind you of the supermarket cashier who claims not to have change and keeps 2-3 pounds every time you enter the shop to do your shopping? Or the restaurant down the road that restricts the occupation with minimum charge? Apparently the campaign was launched by Bad Experience, who is so far posting the ads on their Facebook® page. But it now seems that BQ is contesting the authorship. Hopefully we will soon find out. What we really wonder now is whether we are witnessing a social revolution against the everyday injustice, or is this just one of those Pavlovian experiments from the big brands? We at INSITE OOH are so looking forward to know more!
