For the first time on Dubai’s OOH landscape, the Emirati multinational logistics company, Dp WORLD, has landed with an outdoor marketing campaign. They are the leading provider of smart logistics solutions, enabling the flow of trade across the globe by connecting the worlds of business, logistics, and people on the ground. DP WORLD specializes in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services, and free trade zones. The company was formed in 2005 by the merger of Dubai Ports Authority and Dubai Ports International, DP WORLD handles 70 million containers that are brought in by around 70,000 vessels annually, which roughly equates to 10% of global container traffic. The outdoor billboards feature visuals that display the colors of the ocean, a metaphor for how intrinsic DP WORLD is to the field of financial services and logistics. The blue background hosts some coral reefs on both sides, with the brand’s logo taking center stage. Since the visuals are simple and straightforward, the ad copy follows suit by directly describing the company’s main services, which are “Connecting Businesses, Logistics, and People”. The clear message is supported by a transparent ad, which in turn promotes an essential service for businesses. This limited campaign is a new one that was released during the first week of October for the first time and was distributed on Lampposts and digital screens in Dubai City.
