Telecom Egypt has started to evolve their marketing strategy for recently-launched mobile network “we”, with customer-centric promotions to match the strong competitive approaches of telecom operators in Egypt. Over colorful branded backgrounds that showcase air-time loading cards in the form of a puzzle, the ad copy informs viewers of a limited-time promotion for extra credit. Intertwined with the promotional ads, the campaign also includes some branding billboards that emphasize the role of Telecom Egypt as the first integrated telecom operator in the country. The campaign was launched during the second week of November and uses a great variety of OOH types and sizes such as, uni-poles, double-decker poles, billboards, lightboxes, and mega signs in various locations across Greater Cairo.
