DiDi Launches “We'll Get There” in Cairo's OOH Scene, Starring Lina Sophia & Marwan Moussa
Following its last appearance, the global transportation mobile app, DiDi, unveils a new Out-Of-Home campaign throughout Greater Cairo, positioning itself as Egypt’s first choice in affordability, safety, and speed, starring the young actress Lina Sophia and Egyptian rapper Marwan Moussa, reassuring riders that wherever they’re headed, DiDi’s got the journey covered.
The campaign is promoting DiDi as the first choice for a ride-hailing app in Egypt, highlighting its key qualities, as it’s no. 1 in saving, safety, and speed, which shows that the app has affordable rides for everyone, a safe experience, especially for solo travelers and women, and fast service, focusing on quick arrival and smooth travel. The Orange billboard displays Lina Sophia & Marwan Moussa as passengers relaxed in a DiDi car, emphasizing comfort and safety during the ride, and using their phones that show the DiDi app interface with a map and location pin, reinforcing ease of use and digital reliability.
Along with its Egyptian slang tagline, which translates to, “With DiDi, We’ll Get There,” it’s a casual, friendly Egyptian Arabic phrase that plays on the sound of the brand name “DiDi,” giving off a sense of trust, ease, and reliability, as if DiDi is saying, “Don’t worry, hop in, we’ll make sure you reach safely.”
This campaign adopts a confident, modern tone of voice, appealing to young people seeking convenient, budget-friendly transportation. In addition, it builds trust and awareness, positioning DiDi as Egypt's top mobility app with the most trustworthy, affordable, and fastest for daily commutes.
